Our Products

Lubricated plug valves enhance sealing performance and reduce opening/closing torque by injecting sealing grease.

Non-lubricated plug valves utilize self-lubricating bushings or specialized sealing designs, eliminating the need for periodic lubricant injection and simplifying your maintenance steps.

The 2-way plug valve makes use of the straight-through design for single-direction control.

The 3-way plug valve makes use of the T-type or L-type design for the direction of the fluid.

The industrial plug valves are mainly used for the discharge of fluids in low-pressure, low-temperature systems.
Features of Stainless Steel Plug Valves

The valve body is designed to be compact in size, requiring less space. This makes it suitable for use in sanitary piping systems.

The OMSS uses a 90° rotary opening/closing mechanism. This makes it possible for the valve to operate quickly.

The optimized design of the sealing structure enables a tight seal when the valve is closed. This prevents leakage and backflow, ensuring media purity.

The valve is made of high-grade stainless steel. It provides excellent corrosion resistance for use in water, chemicals, gases, and corrosive media.

The robust stainless steel plug valve structure ensures long-term stable operation under high-temperature and moderate-pressure conditions, guaranteeing system reliability.

Simplified internal structure minimizes wear-prone components, reducing maintenance frequency and expenses.

Smooth flow path design helps to prevent pressure losses during the operation, which enables the flow output.

Smooth control valves are commonly used in water treatment, chemical processing, food processing, pharmaceuticals, etc.

Customer Reviews
The answer is that it depends on the location and manner of installation. For underground pipeline systems, the best option is to install the valve within a separate chamber referred to as the valve chamber. This chamber is useful in ensuring that the valve is not in contact with the soil, hence protecting it from corrosion. This chamber also provides room for operation, leak checking, and carrying out maintenance activities, hence enhancing the safety of the system.
A high-quality stainless steel plug valve will last longer than ten years under normal conditions. In addition, it is worth noting that choosing the right material and correct installation will increase the lifespan of the valve, especially in industrial applications.
The pressure rating will depend on the design, materials, and how it is assembled. Commonly available stainless steel plug valves will withstand low to medium-high pressure ratings, which include PN10, PN16, PN25, etc.
What Is a Stainless Steel Plug Valve?
A stainless steel plug valve is a type of valve that controls the flow of fluids by rotating the core of the valve. The core of the valve consists of a cylindrical plug with a through hole in it. The through hole of the plug aligns with the pipe when the core of the valve is turned by nearly 90 degrees. The core of the valve is in the vertical position when the valve is in the closed position.
Working Principle of Stainless Steel Plug Valves
The working principle of the sanitary stainless steel plug valve in the industrial pipe system depends on the simple working mechanism of the plug valve that enables it to open and close rapidly. In the following section, I will discuss by working sequence of the stainless steel plug valve to explain the working principle of the plug valve for you.
Closing
In the closed position of the plug valve, the cylindrical or conical plug within the stainless steel rotary valve is perpendicular to the flow path of the pipeline. At this particular stage, the through-hole of the plug is completely misaligned relative to the flow path of the pipeline, such that there is no medium flow through the pipe.
Rotation
Upon rotation of the stem of the plug valve by the handle, gear, or other actuators, the stem, which is part of the plug, also rotates.
Alignment
Upon rotation of the plug by about 90°, the internal bore of the plug begins to align itself relative to the direction of the flow path of the valve body, such that medium flow is felt within the internal region of the valve, which is characterized by relatively low resistance.
Open
Once the plug is rotated to an aligned position, a complete bore path is created between the plug and the pipeline. This allows a smooth flow of the medium through the valve and places it in an open state.
Reverse Rotation
To stop the fluid flow in the pipeline, the plug valve mechanism is reversed to rotate the plug back to its vertical position. The plug bore is again misaligned for valve closure.

How to Lubricate Stainless Steel Plug Valves?
As the plug and the valve body are in constant contact with each other during running, this may cause the valve to get damaged if not handled properly. Lubricating the stainless steel plug valve is one of the most important tasks that needs to be done if the system is running for a longer period. In general, the following steps are to be followed:
Verify Valve Type and Lubrication Method
First and foremost, it is necessary to verify if the plug valve is lubricatable or not. Some of the stainless steel plug valves come with a grease injection port on the valve body, which allows grease to be injected into the valve using a grease gun.
Selecting the Appropriate Grease
The appropriate grease is selected based on the type of fluid involved, the temperature at which the system is operating, and the system pressure. For petroleum-based fluids, natural gas, or chemicals, a grease is normally chosen that is specially formulated for valves and is able to handle high temperatures while offering outstanding sealing properties. The objective is to provide a stable lubricating film between the plug and the valve body.
Clean the Grease Port and Its Environment
Before you inject grease into the system, the grease port and the immediate area need to be sanitized. This is to ensure that dust and any other particles do not enter the valve body, reducing the wear on the sealing surfaces.
Grease oil with a Grease Gun
Connect the grease gun to the grease port of the valve and slowly push the grease into the valve. This coats the plug and the valve with a smooth lubricant film and seals any gaps to enhance the overall performance of the valve seals.
Turn the Valve to Distribute the Grease Evenly
Once the grease has been pumped into the valve, turn the valve a few times to distribute the grease evenly over the surfaces that come into contact with each other. This will make the valve operate smoothly.
Perform Regular Checks and Maintenance
If the valve is frequently used or is subjected to high pressures, it is recommended that the operating torque and the seals be checked from time to time.
