Customer Reviews
OMSS Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule is designed for fluid systems with high sanitary requirements such as food, dairy and biopharmaceutical. Compared to standard Tri Clamp Ferrule, it has a smoother inner wall and no dead space, which effectively reduces residue and microbial buildup. OMSS Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule utilize a clamp type interface for quicker disassembly, more consistent sealing for repeated use, and are compatible with a wide range of sanitary piping standards.
304/316L stainless steel is highly corrosion resistant and chemically stable, able to withstand acids, alkalis and a variety of cleaning and sanitizing media. It will not rust or contaminate fluids over long periods of time. 316L stainless steel has a higher molybdenum content than 304 stainless steel and is more resistant to pitting corrosion. It is more suitable for harsh pharmaceutical or dairy environments.
The clamp connection does not require welding tools or specialized equipment. It is quick to install, easy to dismantle, and repetitive operations will not affect the sealing performance of the pipeline. Compared to threaded or welded connections, the clamp connection greatly reduces line maintenance time and the complexity of line modification or cleaning. At the same time, it can maintain the structural stability of the pipeline, reliable sealing. Ideal for high frequency maintenance and CIP/SIP cleaning environments.
Whether it’s a main branch system or a multi-branch line, OMSS Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule can be expanded with standardized flange sizes and optional reducers to meet the flexibility requirements of complex production lines.
OMSS Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule is precision machined with high quality silicone or EPDM seals for uniform and stable contact pressure, high structural strength and good vibration resistance. Even under high-temperature CIP/SIP cleaning or frequent disassembly, it still maintains a stable, leak-free interface, ensuring the long-term safe operation of the fluid system.
OMSS Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule materials are RoHS and REACH compliant. It has been certified as food grade. They are lead-free and safe for use in the international market. Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrules meet 3A, SMS, DIN, ISO, IDF, RJT, ASME BPE and FDA plumbing standards for safety and reliability.
Orders for standard size OMSS Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule typically ship within 7-14 days. For large quantities or custom pipe diameters, we will provide you with accurate delivery time according to the production schedule and inventory. Feel free to contact us for any requirements.

Material Selection Guide for Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrules
Before choosing the right size and material of Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule, you first need to make a comprehensive judgment based on your pipeline conveying medium, temperature conditions, cleaning mode deterioration system pressure.
Material Options:
304 Stainless Steel:
Conveys conventional food, beverage, water or neutral liquids.
Pipe cleaning method is based on conventional alkali washing.
The working temperature is lower than 100℃ for a long time.
No high concentration of chloride ions or acidic corrosive environment.
316L Stainless Steel:
Pipeline design acidic media or chlorine containing cleaning agents.
Frequent high temperature steam SIP sterilization (>121°C) is required.
Dairy or pharmaceutical systems with higher requirements for pitting and intergranular corrosion control.
The medium is somewhat corrosive or has a relatively high salt content.
Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrules Material, Pressure & Temperature Specifications
| Material | Max Working Pressure | Max Temperature |
| 304 Stainless Steel | 10 bar | 100°C |

Note: In actual use, please select according to the type of medium, temperature fluctuation and safety factor.
Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrules Installation, Disassembly & Maintenance Guide
Installation steps:
Check the end face and sealing ring
Before installation, you need to make sure that the end face of the Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule is free of scratches, deformation impurity residue.
The sealing surface is free of cracks, deterioration or indentation, and is compatible with the media type (e.g. silicone, EPDM, etc.).
Align the flange ends
Align the Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule and pipe flanges accurately to ensure a perfect fit and prevent leakage.
Placement of the seal
The seal should be placed flat in the flange groove and no unsuitable lubricant should be applied to the sealing surface. Certain greases will swell with EPDM or Silicone, altering the compression ratio and potentially contaminating the piping system.
Install the clamps and lock evenly
Wrap the Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule around both flanges and tighten the nuts evenly. Avoid over-tightening on one side which will cause the seal to squeeze and deform, resulting in reduced seal life. For high pressure systems, torque control is recommended to avoid human error.
Pressure test check
Perform a pressure test of the system after installation is complete to confirm that there is no leakage from the connections. The system is ready for operation.
Disassembly Procedure:
Relieve the internal pressure of the system to ensure that the piping system is in a safe condition.
Loosen the Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrules nut and slowly remove the clamp.
Remove the seal and check for compression fatigue or wear.
If the seal is deformed or deteriorated, replace it promptly.
NOTE: In environments with frequent disassembly, it is recommended that you replace the seals periodically, not only after a leak.
Maintenance:
OMSS Sanitary Tri Clamp Ferrule supports CIP/SIP cleaning, but manual inspection is required in the following cases.
The medium contains high viscosity residues
Contamination or batch changeover has occurred in the production line
Restarting use after a long shutdown
Focused Inspection Deposits on flange end faces Seals for scale buildup or hardening crystallization or residues inside the flow path.
If steam SIP sterilization is used, make sure that the temperature resistance of the sealing material meets the requirements of the system before use
EPDM Normally ≤ 130°C
Silicone Up to 180°C
FKM Suitable for high temperatures and high chemical corrosive environments
Exceeding the temperature range may result in permanent compression deformation, hardening of the material and failure of the seal.
