The Most Common Installation Mistakes
Clamp over-torque is the one we see most. Someone tightens the tri-clamp past the recommended spec, the body distorts, and the seal leaks. We include a torque card with every order now. About one in ten customers tell us they did not see it.

Lessons from the Field
On a data center liquid cooling project in Virginia, tri-clamp connections loosened after 3 months due to server cabinet vibration. We developed a spring-loaded clamp that maintains constant compression. Now standard on all data center orders.
A brewery in Oregon reported a butterfly valve leaking at the stem after 2 months. Clamp torque was 45 Nm on a DN50 — nearly double the recommended 25 Nm maximum. The body was distorted. Replacing the valve and torquing to 20 Nm solved it. We now include a torque gauge with bulk orders.
