The Structural Advantages of Hexagons
Installation Compatibility
When installing the hanger, the hexagonal design allows the wrench to engage at 60°, while a square design requires 90°. In tight piping spaces, the hexagonal hanger can be tightened more easily, which facilitates worker installation.
The small 60° operating angle allows workers to operate with small movements during installation, which shortens the installation time of a single hanger. This significantly improves installation efficiency in projects involving hundreds of hangers.
Anti-Slip Effect
Compared to a round smooth surface, hex hangers are more slip-resistant. When subjected to vibration or impact, hex hangers tightly lock the pipe through six force-bearing planes, preventing the pipe from slipping.
